Ryan is a Graduate of Montreat College where he studied and earned his Bachelors Degree in Environmental Studies and Outdoor Education as a Naturalist.  He has many years of experience as an environmental educator, ropes course facilitator, canoe/kayak instructor, and snorkeling instructor.  Ryan has lead trips throughout FL, NC, TN and WY including Nantahala River, Appalachian Trail, Smoky Mountains, Grand Tetons NP, Ocala National Forest, the FL Keys & Costa Rica.  Other past times have included scuba diving, mountain biking, adventure racing and traveling.  His adventure travels have taken him to 14 US Nat. Parks, Jamaica, Bahamas, the French and Swiss Alps, South Africa and Costa Rica.  Ryan is a husband of 25 yrs. to his wonderful wife, Lisa, and a father to Emma (21) and Joshua (16) and a Grandpa to Ellie (18 mo).
